My musical expertise centres around classic and emerging music from across the black Atlantic, with a keen love for the exchange between black American and black British music forms. My knowledge covers a breadth of styles such as Baile Funk, Reggaeton, Detroit Techno, House, UK Garage, Jungle, Reggae, global Hip Hop, global soul music, Gqom, Soukous, Spiritual Jazz, and various forms of experimental electronic music and even classic Pop. Raised in a black music capital of Memphis, Tennessee, I was exposed to a wide variety of music from an early age. 
This love of music led me to professionalising my knowledge in the form of DJing and event production. I ran a successful city-funded event series for 3 years before relocating to Brooklyn, NY. In Brooklyn, I spent 3 years programming 30+ North/South American music broadcasts for the London platform, Boiler Room. I moved to Berlin in 2019 and curated 50+ artists, and managed all digital channels for COLORS x STUDIOS.
Currently I manage communications for the legendary Berlin institution, Tresor Berlin, and work as a freelance curator and event producer.
